105 分授業開始 & 4/10-4/19 の輪読

4/11 から今年度の授業が始まりました.茨城大学は今年度から授業時間が 105 分(従来は 90 分)になりました.90 分授業の場合は 2 単位の科目で 15 回の授業と期末試験で 16 週が必要となったのですが,105 分授業ならばこれが,13 回の授業+期末試験で 14 週で済むことになります.これによって,夏季・春季休業期間と補講期間を確保するというのがこの変更の狙いになっています.実は授業をする立場では(少なくとも私の場合)90 分でも 105 分でもそれほどの違いは感じません.一生懸命しゃべっていると案外時間の流れは速く感じるものです.しかし,聴く方の立場では 90 分でも結構長いと感じる学生の皆さんは多いと思うので,105 分でも受講生を飽きさせない授業にするというのは結構難しいと思います.

新年度が始まりました.昨年度の生物制御化学研究室は 4 年生 1 名のみ在籍という超少数精鋭研究室でしたが,今年度は修士課程学生 1 名,4 年生 4 名の体制でスタートです.
